When young parents experience the death of a child, we help them bring their little one home so they can grieve in the comfort of a familiar, safe environment. When a woman wants to plan her own funeral, together we explore all the options and get her wishes organized. When a family wants to tend to their loved one’s body after death, we connect them with a local funeral home that supports this and guide them through the process. When there is disagreement concerning life prolonging measures, we mediate difficult conversations to provide a more clear path forward. When anyone wants to deepen their own relationship with mortality and grief, we walk alongside them for six months through The Mortal Clay Mentorship.

Death Done Differently exists to companion the people of Northern Indiana back to sacred ways of engaging with death and mourning in a death phobic culture. Our lives are clay vessels molded and shaped by our own hands. With intention, our deaths can be as well.
