Death Done Differently is available to facilitate, present, and teach on multiple topics pertaining to the end of life. Some commonly requested themes are the history of death care in the U.S., eco-friendly end of life choices, the necessity of ritual in mourning, mourning vs. grief, funeral law, and casual gatherings such as Death and Donuts: A Conversation About Our Experiences.

Whether she is sharing the nature of her work with hospice social workers, leading a small group through end of life planning exercises, or participating in a community event geared toward creating greater openness around death and dying, Lauren passionately believes that to change the death culture we must first get comfortable talking about it.
