A Broken Vessel
Support for the Work of Dying, Mourning, and Letting Go

We are all vessels… shaped by time, weathered by sorrows, and touched by love. Often when we encounter death, we crack open.
Sometimes slowly. Sometimes all at once.

Where before the village would have stepped in to gather us up in our fragility, many of us now face death or grief in spaces that feel somehow too quiet. Our experiences of loss can be isolating and lonely in a way that layers an ache for compassionate community on top of everything else.

A Broken Vessel is one way of inviting the heart driven, village model of care back into the center of your experience. It is a suite of package offerings for those navigating death or grief — for the dying and the bereaved. And it’s supportive for any type of loss that has been experienced, not solely physical death.

This is tender ground. You don’t have to walk all of it alone.

The following is a description of services provided and a suggested fee for each. Being able to die well is a human right regardless of income. If the fees listed below are a barrier, please don’t let that stop you from reaching out for support. Email me and let’s think outside the box together.

We are all shaped by time, by touch, by care—and so too is the way we die. These support packages are designed to meet you where you are, offering compassionate guidance, ritual, and presence through the end-of-life journey. Each is named after a form of pottery, honoring the art of shaping something sacred from the raw materials of our lives.

A Note from Lauren:

Your life is your story. My role is to help you write the best last chapter that you can imagine, to listen deeply, honor your choices, and hold space with tenderness for whatever you experience.

We will all have to face parts of the dying process on our own but that does not mean we need to walk the entire path alone.

If you’d like to explore working together, I invite you to reach out and begin the conversation.

With gentleness,
